Why do you think Sheen gave the iffy sign. Maybe not for the reason you were thinking.... I'll just shut up now....

That sign Sheen gave for Jimmy future was something like 'Eh it's alright'. I mean it wasn't hard to figure out what will happen to Jimmy. With Sheen and Carl, their future was a surprise.

He'd be better with someone.
Jimmy needs someone to help him, he has good ideas and is a hard worker, but he needs someone to keep down his ego and show him how to relax, and in my opinion, Cindy is the only one who's been able to do that. Rewatching some of the episodes, I noticed that he acts superior sometimes to even his best friends. I am well aware, they are not anywhere on his intellectual level, but it is only around Cindy that he acknowledges he may actually have someone on the same par...although he never admits it out loud. (As far as I remember!)

I also think Jimmy and Betty would make an okay pair, but we don't learn enough about Betty to see how compatible or how much of his attraction she returns.
Honestly, as an avid J/C'er though, I feel that's one of the best ships.
But thats just my opinion.

OR SHEEN!

Thanks for the nightmares...Just joking, but I REALLY don't like to think that Sheen and Jimmy are homos...ugh...

I'm sorry, I should have givien this topic a different name maybe JIMMY ALONE FOR NOW...or something...because that is what I meant...I know that IDOJ would die if there wasn't parings (If I'm affending anyone tell me, but I think everyone here is mostly for the parings of all (You can't pass a topic without mentioning one it seems, just...um throwing it out there!))

But yes, I do belive Jim will be with someone in the future, but I was just wondering if anyone was here that didn't perfer parings (at all or as much as comedy, action, and um...Sheen...just joking! but he does rock...) Anyways...also, OR COURSE Jimmy will have Goddard! Libby must have made it so he couldn't upgrade him enough for him to live or work...or something...

I'll come clean. J/Cness really drew me into this fandom, but it's not the only reason I'm here. After re-watching episode after episode, I really came to care about the other characters and their own unique personalities. In my opinion, they are just as interesting as the boy genius himself.

I definitely think that Jimmy will marry in the future, but we don't necessarily know whom or when he'll marry. I think, from the countless hints in a number of episodes, it is safe to assume that Jimmy will marry Cindy. However, as it's been pointed out, they're only eleven. Time could change them, and nothing is set in stone at that age (at least, I hope not).

Going along with this, I interpreted Jimmy's marriage to Cindy in the bad future as comical. In my mind, I saw the creators laughing and thinking that for young Jimmy, he would totally flip to see he was married to Cindy. It was more playing off of Jimmy's current fears of his future and dislikes then dissing Cindy and saying she would be a terrible wife. Again, that's my interpretation.

Personally, even though Cindy can be mean and bossy, she's not evil or abusive. Besides, in the few seconds she was shown on screen, she was stressed because the pair has to watch over her mother and take care of her feet. Would you come in all cheery and say to your husband, "Honey? Sorry to bother you, but we've got to go and care for my mother's feet for the bazillionith time today. Let's get to scrubbin'!"

Um....no. I would be stressed too. And it sounds like Jimmy was being lazy, so he was probably trying to shirk his duties. :P

No idea if linklover77 still visits the site but I agree that the only reason why they were portraying his marriage to Cindy as bad is because it was supposed to be funny having her be a naggy wife (in the good future she would probably be a better wife). I think that "Stranded" pretty much confirmed Cindy is Jimmy's one true love ("Elementary school sweethearts" is rare, but hey, it can happen!) and besides, we don't know that Cindy isn't married to Jimmy in the good future.

Also she didn't call him "Nerdtron" much by the end of the series anyway, so The Tomorrow Boys was sort of like having season 1 Cindy be Jimmy's future wife
